Workshops

Part of our vision is to share our knowledge and experience through teaching or facilitating workshops in the community.

Here are some of the presentations that we have given recently:

Bring Balance to Busy

All families feel the stress of multiple activities, responsibilities and interests. The goal of this workshop is to give families the tools to sort out their priorities and make decisions that help them grow together. This isn’t just an organizational workshop, we talk about the roots of what being busy really means!

Family Soup: Making Blended Families Work

A look at the unique stresses encounter by single, divorced, widowed families who are or are thinking about becoming a blended family.  This workshop isn’t just for those in blended families, but is for anyone who love, works with, ministers to, or knows a blended family! (that’s all of us!)

Care Givers Grief and Loss

Walk through the challenges of being a primary care giver and dealing with the grief and loss of a loved one.

Do “Mommy Emotions” ever get the best of you?

The varied feelings that moms experience can sometimes be overwhelming.  Parenting, busy schedules, lack of sleep, diminished time for self care, maintaining relationships, working, and multi-tasking can all try a mom’s patience and ability to stay calm and focused.  This workshop explores the varied emotions that most moms experience: frustration, worry, depression, anger and fear.  In addition we will help demonstrate some tools for coping better with, and reducing the effects that are associated with “Mommy Emotions.”

We would be happy to design a workshop specifically for your needs.
