Counselor, Board Certified Christian Counselor

Miriam joined FRCC as a counselor in October 2002. She holds a Master’s of Science in Nursing from the Medical University of South Carolina and a Bachelor’s of Science in Nursing from Messiah College. She has also done graduate work in counseling at Millersville University and Westminster Theological Seminary.

Miriam is certified as a pastoral counselor through the American Association of Christian Counselors and Emerge Ministries. She is credentialed by the Board of Christian Professional & Pastoral Counselors. She is also certified in the Myers-Briggs Type Indicator (MBTI) personality inventory and is a certified Spiritual Director through Kairos School of Spiritual Formation.

Prior to joining FRCC, Miriam spent 16 years as a professional nurse and a nurse practitioner. She has a passion to see people find truth, hope and healing. A few of the many things she enjoys doing are cycling, reading, hiking, cooking and writing poetry.
