Intake

“I felt cared for from the first time I called your office.”

When you call our center to start the counseling process, our receptionist will ask for your name and phone number. You will then be contacted by our Intake Coordinators, Jen or Michelle. They will work with you to schedule your first visit, something we call an intake session, with one of our intake counselors. This appointment can often be scheduled within a few days depending on your availability.

You will be asked to come 15 to 20 minutes early to your intake appointment in order to complete the necessary paperwork. Or, to save time, you may print out the forms listed below, complete the information and bring them with you to give to the receptionist at the front desk.

Your intake appointment will last approximately 45 to 50 minutes. During this time, the intake counselor will ask you about the issues that are bringing you to counseling. The intake counselor will then take this information to the weekly intake team meeting. During this meeting, the team will prayerfully consider which counselor would be best suited to meet your specific needs. After this meeting you will be contacted, told who the assigned counselor is, and you may schedule to begin appointments.
