Robert K. Skacel, Jr., Ph.D.- Chair
Robert K. Skacel, Jr., Ph.D., is a business psychologist, speaker, and author who provides executive coaching, management training, personnel assessment, and other consultation services to businesses and non-profit organizations. With a Bachelor’s degree from Franklin & Marshall College, and Master’s and Doctoral degrees from Purdue University, Rob began his career in the field of clinical psychology. Rob founded True Edge Performance Solutions in 2000 after transitioning to business psychology specialization. Rob has held senior executive positions with Community Services Group (CSG) and Lancaster County Bible Church (LCBC). In 2004, Rob authored the book, Tailing Mulligan: Mastering the Art of Workplace Communication. He lives in Lititz with his wife Marita and their three children: Abraham, Joelle and Elijah.
William Warner – Vice Chair
Bill is Vice President-Marketing for ALP Industries, Inc., a nationwide industrial distributor of wire rope, alloy chain and other lifting devices base out of Coatesville, PA. He has a MS Ed and a MBA from Youngstown State University. Bill and his wife, Diana, moved to Atglen, PA in 2000 from eastern Ohio. They have two married children and six grandsons. Diana is the Office Manager for Veterinary Oncology Research Services in West Chester, PA. They are partners at Celebrate Life Christian Church in Lancaster, PA. Bill enjoys restoring his 1960 MGA Roadster, collecting Coca-Cola memorabilia and making simple woodworking projects.
Ryan Rutt - Treasurer
Ryan is a licensed Certified Public Accountant for McKonly & Asbury, LLP in Lancaster, PA. He is a 2007 graduate from Grove City College with a BS in Accounting. Ryan attends DOVE Westgate Church in Ephrata, PA where he serves on the Financial Advisory Team under the Executive Pastor of Finance. He is also serves as leader on the Media Team for Sunday morning services and enjoys leading a small group.
Beth Monaghan – Secretary
As chief administrative officer, Beth oversees human resources, executive offices, employee services, and facilities maintenance departments for Auntie Anne’s, Inc. As corporate secretary, Beth is responsible for maintaining the official documents of corporation such as the official seal, records of shares issued, corporate bylaws, and minutes of all board and committee meetings. She has been with the company since 1997 and has over 25 years of experience in administration, working with top-level executives on the legal, insurance, construction, marketing, advertising, and business franchise opportunities teams. Beth and her husband live in Conestoga, Pa. and have two children and two grandchildren. She likes to spend her free time with her family and also enjoys a good workout.
Doris Swaim
Doris Swaim had been with FRCC over 15 years prior to her retirement in December 2006. She had served in a number of positions including front desk receptionist, administration, finance, development and management. She was a member of the first board of directors and served as board secretary in the past. She is currently serving as chair of the board. Doris is a retired registered nurse and former head nurse of a medical/surgical unit at a psychiatric hospital. Her strength in organization and management helped the Center enjoy healthy growth. She serves as secretary of the Angela Foundation and The Family Center of Gap. In her spare time, she enjoys teaching Sunday School at Central Baptist Church of Pomeroy, mixing with people, reading, politics and traveling with her husband, Reitzel. They have been married for 46 years, have two grown daughters and five fabulous grandchildren who live nearby.
Tom Newcome
Tom is superintendent of schools for the Octorara Area School District in Atglen, PA. He has been employed by the school district since September 1996. Tom has worked in education his entire career. He began as a math and science teacher with the Wake County, NC public school system. He served as an assistant principal with the Southern York County School District, Glen Rock, PA, prior to his start at Octorara. Tom and his wife Connie live in Glen Rock, PA and worship at Grace Fellowship in York-New Salem, PA.
Mae Ireland
After 42 years in public education, Mae desires to live an active retirement by using her God-given gifts, talents and life experiences to continue to serve the Lord. Mae lives in Lancaster and attends Calvary Church where she is a member of the Calvary Preschool Board (CPS) and co-chairs the CPS Director Search Committee. Recently widowed, she has three adult children and one grandchild.
